I offer in-person sessions at my office in Leawood, Kansas, and video sessions for clients throughout the United States. My fee is $150 for a one-hour session. For your convenience, I accept debit, credit, health savings (HSA), and flexible spending (FSA) cards.

Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation and focused attention to achieve heightened awareness and suggestibility. This allows beneficial suggestions to be delivered directly to the subconscious mind. It is a science-based technique that involves learning to use your mind and thoughts to regulate emotional distress, unpleasant physical symptoms, or break unwanted habits.
Yes. Hypnotherapy is very safe when practiced by a trained professional. During hypnosis, you will not lose control or do anything against your values. You cannot be made to reveal personal information or secrets, and you cannot get "stuck" in hypnosis.
While it's true that some people are more hypnotizable than others, anyone with the right attitude and motivation can enjoy the benefits of hypnosis.
During a hypnotherapy session, we'll discuss your goals, then I'll gently guide you into a deeply relaxed state and provide positive suggestions related to your goal.
I recommend you start with a series of three sessions. While many clients experience improvements after one visit, research shows that results are stronger with multiple sessions. I encourage my clients to return for reinforcement and encouragement sessions whenever they feel the support would be beneficial. My fee is $150 for a one-hour session.
Most of my clients achieve their goals, partly because I limit my practice to motivated people. Three elements will make hypnosis effective for you: motivation, belief, and expectation. Motivation means wanting something. Next, you must believe that it is possible to reach your goal. Finally, you must expect that change will occur. Since hypnosis is a behavioral technique, it is less effective for those who are unmotivated or unwilling to commit to the process.
Video-based hypnotherapy has emerged as a reliable and effective alternative to traditional face-to-face sessions. According to experts, teletherapy is expected to remain a popular option and may even become the primary method of delivering hypnotherapy in the future. This shift towards virtual hypnosis highlights its potential to provide accessible, flexible, and effective sessions to a wider range of people.
